Oops..you have encountered an error 0

Subject says it all...except the home page, most pages are showing the above error. Initially I thought it had something to do with K2 as most pages have k2 articles in them. But it turns out other pages without the K2 articles are also showing error. I am using league news template on J3.3

Here is what I have done in terms of troubleshooting -
- disabled every module one by one, type by type to see if the error disappears. It did not.
- turned off SEF settings
- turned error reporting to maximum and here are the major ones I get (several, but here are a few representative)

Have you tried to disable the template and try on default Beeze?

Just tried..seems to be ok with Beez

Strange, none of the above errors correspond to template itself.
League news is quite old template - have you got any issues with it before?

No never had any issues with it...are there any updates I should be checking?

I'm guessing this might be hosting server problem. Probably your hosting company has changed php version to one that doesn't fit Joomla requirements. Could you please ask hosting company support if they did such change lately?

I had changed my host server a few weeks back...I just checked with the new hosting company. They use the following -
PHP version 5.2.17
MySQL version 5.1.60-rel13.1-log
They have not made changes recently, though.
Is this php version ok?

I just went ahead and upgraded to php 5.4.24 and I still get the same error.

Anything I am missing here? Any assistance is appreciated..am running out of options. Many thanks in advance.

One more thing to try - please enable error reporting in Joomla configuration and copy here exactly all errors you see (with Error/Warning info on beginning of each line).

I set error reporting to maximum, and the pages that continued to show "Oops..you have encountered an error 0" show exactly that, and nothing else.

The home page, which was error free in the past, now shows a string of errors like this -

This problem has been open for more than a week..would appreciate if anyone can help me close this quickly. Thanks in advance.

After gathering all available informations I have asked more advanced moderators to take a look into this issue. Someone will write here soon.

Cyberek or other experts - please close this issue. If any one else had a similar issue on other Gavick templates, would love to hear possible solutions.

If it is still possible - please rename error.php to __error.php in template folder. It should provide more detailed information.

When I rename error.php to _error.php in /templates/gk_league_news/ it shows a mysql error, and does not connect to database.

And it does only on subpages while frontpage works fine? And also subpages works fine with default Beeze?
If so - please try reuploading the template (with ftp).

Backup entire site before just in case (files & database).
