Template properly configured for meta tags

I'm using the the menu items Metadata to populate Meta Description and Meta keywords. These values do not seem to be passed on to the relevant pages the menu item is linked to. Any ideas?

are you sure that is template fault? Check on default or others this same view.

I figured it out. There was a global setting for meta description in Joomla. Once removed (made blank) all is well.
