Datos de ejemplo no funcionan

Hi, I'm doing a news site with Fashion template. Quickstar I downloaded and installed it on my server. But when I open the site the sample data do not appear and instead to pair this screen:

And at the end of this note appears site: "Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/admin103/public_html/103/components/com_k2/helpers/route.php on line 67"

and the sample data: menu, modules, and articles. No aparecem as in the demo version of the Fashion template.

Try to install "naked" Joomla 3.3 and then install template package + all modules.
Then let me know.
