error pages

Where can I find the error pages for editing. I want to add some links to it.

In Joomla! there is only one error page, and the code for this page you will find in template directory in error.php file.

Ok, thanks and where can I find the message, is it in a language file. I want to change Oops, you've encountered an error

It appears the page you were looking for doesn't exist. Sorry about that.
