How to link a grid item to an article

Hi,

We're struggling with the template options and hopefully you can help us out.
We've made several articles including pictures. We'd like to use those pictures for the Grid, with the article title showing up on a hover. We can't seem to get this to work.

I've named my first grid: mygrid1. Made a module with custom position mygrid1, but I do not know what to do from there.

Easiest is to use a module which will do that for You. Try News Show Pro module with title overlay style showing one article only and selecting this article in source by ID.

Somehow this isn't working for me. I've created a new News Show Pro module. Placed it into the mygrid1 position. Set to Joomla articles and filled in the article ID. It still doesn't show anything.

What am I doing wrong?

Problem was with module position names in Grid module. First position was called "grid1", but rest: "grid1[2],grid1[3]...."

So when attaching a module to grid1 only worked for the first box. I've changed it to "grid1[1]" and module is showing now.
