GK Gallery News

Hi,

I have a problem with images display with GK Gallery News, the images are not showing.
I could see they are saved in theme folder, shouldn't they be in wp-content/uploads ?

Code: Select all: wp-content/themes/Simplicity/gavern/cache_nsp/image-widget_gk_news_gallery-4.jpg

I could see the demo is using also the same path, so it's probably not a path issue.
I added one gallery news widget yesterday, I had also the same problem at the beginning, but after some time the images started to appear, but for new created gallery widget they are not showing.

I would appreciate any help with this issue.

It seems like permission problem.
Check if /wp-content/themes/Simplicity/gavern/cache_nsp folder can be writable by Apache (or any other user/group httpd is running as).

Thanks Cyberek, yes it permission problem. I will check it on another VPS that is full managed and specialized for Wordpress hosting.

Sometimes it might help to change folder permissions to 777 (very insecure), and then slowly changing it to lower permission settings, but...
Good hosting company will allow WordPress to work without any changes to folder permissions - it should work OOTB.
