Update for Bikestore for VM3 and Joomla 3 coming

Hello,

I am getting worried when the update for this theme will come. Could you inform what is the case for this subject, it will be updated for sure right?

Hello,

In general the Bikestore template is not supported as it is older than 24 months.

BUT I have a plan to made an exception for this template and release an update with support for VM3 around half of January.

I aprieciate it very much. I am looking forward to upgrade to VM and Joomla 3 with Bikestore and then later when things are stable, focusing on changing only the theme.

Any Joomla/VM template you recmmend especially and is easy to work with?

Currently only one of our templates support VM3 - StoreFront. Other template will support VM3 soon till half of January.

Hi Dziudek,

Has there been any development regarding the BikeStore template and support for VirtueMart 3?

This is important for us because we definitely need to migrate to Joomla 3 now that Joomla 2 is no longer supported.

Would you happen to have an estimate on the delivery date?

The bikestore with VM3 is my additional project - it is beyond of our standard support, so I'm doing it in my free time. That's why it takes so long time. Additionally I need to rewrite a lot of additional code like adding support for NSP GK5.

It will be ready when I finish it, because I'm very busy in the last two months.

I tried to install the new package with VM3 (quickstart) but I encountred following issues:

1. If I choose en_us (default) there´s an DB error - some missing VM tables. Workaround used -> en_gb
2. I get this error in the log:
