I might be getting at this at a totally wrong angle, so, first the task: The site (http://episkop.info/) uses both Joomla Articles for fixed content and k2 for blogs. The idea is that few contributors will be joined in "Authors" k2-users-group. When they login, they should see usual k2 users menu which allows them to create/submit new article, which will be pending untill I color it with typography and publish it.
But no matter what I do, the only menu item that I can see how to create is J!'s login, which doesn't show that k2 users menu, so they can't submit new articles into k2 categories. But since there's a way to create K2 User module, there has to be a way to make menu item for it! Any help?
Second issue is to make this menu item work like on your demo site - overlay window https://yadi.sk/i/xZLZwrdGgdR8R - I've checked on QuickStart site - can't find where you make it work like that... Mine turns out a new window, not overlay...https://yadi.sk/i/gXFEkuNBgdRAa

Hi
Unfortunately I'm not sure about the first question, You will have to ask on K2 forum probably. I think that if a K2 user group is created than joomla users should be attached to this group and have a way to edit both, but I may be wrong here. Have never done that before.
For the popup, You need a login module published in "login" module position and a menu item with an additional css class "gkLogin".

Hi
I think You have changed it already to disable popup. I cannot see any html for it now. From the screen I see that login module was modified I guess. Can You please revert it so I'll be able to check ?
