How to display article on the main page?
The menu item "article" not displayed on the main page. Displays only modules.

HI,
it probably because you used QuickStart with demo content and Home position have special suffix added in template settings which hides articles.

In template settings "Features" tab - you will find something like this:

remove it.

So maybe just use other menu item as a Default Home which have article(s) inside.
I cannot guess without seeing back-end, sorry.

okay.

itemID640=frontpage if I specify in the settings of a template(gavick), will not display the material on the main? if you specify in your template? (in your other).

I hope you understand my translation :D

"itemID640=frontpage" - this is a special suffix? it works in any template?

In most of... but it's easy to check, just open demo page and click mouse and choose Show Source Code and check class assigned to <body ....

for example GK Photo

Hello Oscar,

My problem is just the other way :)
I can only use mainbody as a module position on the DEFAULT page but not on the other pages.
Can i change this and how can i do that?
