Testimonial home page section

I have gone through the documentation and copied the code for the testimonial section and it does not work.

What am I missing

In the demo you have this:

I am missing all of this:

The documentation does not tell me where do I add the class and id. (it really doesn't mention this at all so it is already apart of the template but it is not using it for some reason.
