If your joomla language is set to spanish then you need to do following;

Copy file languageen-GBen-GB.com_k2.ini
into languagees-ESes-ES.com_k2.ini

Any changes you make to languagees-ESes-ES.com_k2.ini will take effect as long as Joomla Language is set as Spanish. If you change joomla language to English it will start reading languageen-GBen-GB.com_k2.ini file.

You can copy or install the Spanish language file, should work better for you if you install it.
