Help! From a first time Joomla user

Hi,
I've just tried to install my first Joomla template and once it is all done I get this error:
Strict standards: Non-static method JApplicationSite::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in C:\wamp\www\churraswa\templates\gk_bikestore\lib\framework\helper.layout.php on line 125

This is a Joomla 3.2 template and I have Joomla 3.3.3 is this the problem?

Update: installed the QuickInstall pack and got a similar error:
Strict standards: Non-static method GKIS_Bikestore_Image::createThumbnail() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in C:\wamp\www\churraswa\modules\mod_image_show_gk4\styles\gk_bikestore\controller.php on line 56
