Product Sorting - default/custom order

I am using a short code on a page and want to orderby the default order list in products. The only options i see are title and date.

When you go to admin -> Products and select -> Sort Products link..this returns the products in a default listing order. You are able to move product ordering manually (drop and drag)

Is there any way to have the order date display the default product list via featured_products shortcode?


[featured_products per_page="12" columns="4" orderby="date" order="desc"]

Those are woo_commerce shortocodes, you can read about them and their options here:

To enable aditional settings in shortcode that doesn't support them you would need to rewrite this shortcode or write your own one.
