Hi! I've tried turning off the Twitter and Pinterest buttons in my articles, but they're still there! I turned them off in the template manager and made sure in the article options that no icons were enabled. But they still show up, such as here: http://floortracks.cloudaccess.net/inde ... nd-updates

Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi, yes.
Disable all cache features and plugins for a while, clean all Joomla cache! Enable it, then check again.
I'm sure that is in temporary memory of cms.

p.s.
Of course you can always disable it via CSS

Code: Select all
#gkSocialAPI { display:none}

But I think you don't need this method.

Hi guys, this works but don't solve the performance problem.

There is a way to avoid the call? Social networks slow down website performance.

Thank you very much!
