Template configuration messed up by default

Hello,
I did a fresh install of this template and the configuration was different from other template,as all the options are displayed(as opposed to other templates, where you need to click on each option to show the different available options).
Also i cannot change the logo, as it opens up the window on a new page instead of a pop up.
please check screenshot.
How do i get the usual template config?

It looks like your files wasn't transferred correctly. Please reinstall the template.

I did that.. I tried installing another template and the same thing happens..
