I’ve always wondered how to facilitate and accelerate the process of registering new users in Joomla. One method was (and is) to limit the amount of fields that must fill out during registration, so as to not ask for unnecessary things. In another way I found by accident ….

Google announced the availability of a social services API for Google +. By providing an API (Application Programming Interface) developers can create their own projects using the information provided in the Google+.

Page 404 is displayed to the user when try to load a nonexistent page. It may have been removed or the user can click on the incorrect link. Many servers have a default 404 error page, but which are not very useful. That is why every website should have a specially prepared page 404.

I have to point out that this operation will not always be easy or free. And certainly it will be tiresome task in some cases. This is due to several reasons. Suppose you have a menu item that requires the user to be logged to be able to enter it. Do you want all users to see the link in the menu, and you logged on. If logged in user selects this menu item, pass on the relevant page. If you set the menu item simply an Access Level: Registered – logged on user will see an error page 403, which of course is not advisable.
