The time has come for the release of version 3.9/2.16 of our Gavick framework. This update fixes several problems, adds improvements, and introduces a new feature. In the template settings under the ‘Features’ tab there is a new option to specify Touch device image.
Configure Twitter keys for Social GK5 module
Retirement of the deprecated Twitter API v1.0 is planned for May 7, 2013, which means that all Twitter features from Social GK5 v.1.0 will stop working on this day. One of the major features of this new API are authenticated requests to search.twitter.com. For this to work, the module configuration requires the setting of public and private keys generated on the twitter.com site in order to authorize your queries.
Important changes to Social GK5 v.1.1 module
Today we released our Social GK5 v.1.1 module which makes use of the new Twitter 1.1 API and contains a few small fixes. As many of you know, Twitter published a long list of changes to its API, which is used by 3rd-party clients such as our Social GK5 extension.
