A new version of our WordPress framework – MeetGavernWP has been released. This update fixes many small issues and contains a few new features. Additionally, all Quickstart packages have been updated to support WordPress 3.7.1.

It’s time for the next version of our framework – Meet Gavern v.1.3. The newest version contains mostly new options such as: login pop-up, sidebar options override, variable-based font sizes, and corrections submitted by our users on our official GitHub repository.

One of the templates released after Joomla! 3.2 edition will introduce the Gavern Framework v.4.0 version. The fourth generation of our framework brings several changes in and better unification between Joomla! 2.x and 3.x templates.

We have released the new version of the News Show Pro GK5 module – v.1.3. The main feature in this version is support for the great Easy Blog component. Yesterday, we released Highlighter module, which like Tabs, News Show Pro & Social belong to a new series of extensions – GK5.

Following our last big update, we’ve decided to keep the next two updates much smaller. So, GavernWP v.1.8 is a simply a maintenance release with a few small features. Additionally, all Quickstart packages have been updated to support WordPress 3.6.

Over the past few weeks we have been working to improve our documentation. We have upgraded our existing WordPress Themes Configuration section and added two important new sections: Joomla Templates Configuration and WordPress WXR files.

This release represents our biggest update yet to the GavernWP framework, and is based upon nearly one hundred – 100! – code commits. The first enhancement is a brand new Layout Manager. This special template block manager enables you to achieve flexible template layouts based upon whether the device is a tablet, mobile and desktop. In short, this new field allows you to customize the layout in every mode and to choose completely different module positions, which was not possible previously.
